Shawn Jindal, MD is a dedicated physician with a passion for providing patient-centered care in the fields of hematology and oncology. His clinical journey began with a residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, followed by specialized training in Hematology and Oncology at the same institution.

 Dr. Jindal earned his medical degree from Stoney Brook University School of Medicine and completed his undergraduate studies at New York University, majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Business Studies. Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Jindal’s research interests span various aspects of hematology and oncology. He has contributed to numerous clinical research projects, focusing on topics such as COVID-induced coagulopathy, the efficacy of anticoagulation therapy, and the impact of antibiotic use on autoimmune conditions. In addition to his clinical and research roles, Dr. Jindal is actively involved in medical education and mentorship. He has served as a mentor for internal medicine residents and has contributed to the development of mentorship programs aimed at guiding future generations of physicians.
