Rujuta Saksena, MD, is a board-certified attending hematologist and medical oncologist with over a decade of experience delivering personalized, evidence-based cancer care. With expertise in both solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, Dr. Saksena has a particular clinical interest in breast, ovarian, and prostate cancers. She is known for her thoughtful, patient-centered approach, and for forming meaningful connections that guide individuals and families through complex diagnoses and treatment.

Dr. Saksena earned her Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience from Lehigh University and her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. She completed her internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, where she served as chief fellow.

Throughout her career, Dr. Saksena has remained deeply engaged in clinical education, community outreach, and research. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and featured in platforms such as STAT, The ASCO Post, and Healio, addressing both clinical topics and the evolving landscape of oncology care. She has participated in national meetings, including ASCO and ONS, and regularly serves as a speaker and moderator at oncology forums.
