Breast Cancer

ACOHA delivers compassionate care for women with breast health issues. Our multidisciplinary team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, navigators, coordinators and nutritionists and educates women so they can make well-informed decisions. Once patient steps into the practice, we work with the patient navigate through all challenges including their billing, authorizations, and treatment options.

Lung Cancer

Specialists at ACOHA care for patients with all types of lung cancer and chest tumors, including mesothelioma, small cell lung cancer, non-small cell lung cancer and thymoma. GI-Cancer

Gastro-Intestinal (GI) cancer is a term for the group of cancers that affect the digestive system. This includes cancers of the oesophagus, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, stomach, small intestine, bowel (large intestine or colon and rectum), and rectum. Our multidisciplinary team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, navigators, coordinators and nutritionists and educates men and women so they can make well-informed decisions. Once patient steps into the practice, we work with the patient navigate through all challenges including their billing, authorizations, and treatment options.

Bone Marrow Aspiration and Biopsy

Bone marrow aspirations and biopsies are sometimes required in the routine evaluation of benign and malignant blood disorders. Our highly-trained medical team performs this procedure in a comfortable setting, under local anesthesia. The specimens are reviewed by an expert board-certified pathologist and subjected to sophisticated genetic and molecular diagnostic techniques for superior results.

Anemia/Benign Hematology Issues

If you have anemia, whether it is through pregnancy, iron deficiency, or developed as an adult, ACOHA’s team of specialists deliver expert and coordinated care.

Complex Hematology Issues in High-Risk Pregnancy

We are one of the few practices in the region with a special niche to manage and treat blood clotting (thrombosis, DVT, PE, hyper coagulable disorders), anemia, low platelets (thrombocytopenia) and other complex hematology issues for high-risk pregnant patients.

Pancreatic Cancer

The advances in chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer have been particularly positive. ACOHA’s doctors have extensive experience diagnosing and treating pancreatic cancer, including access to clinical trials. We work with radiation oncologists and surgeons to determine the best approach to pancreatic cancer care.
